Public radio station manager Terri Wright gave a brief history of Amy Goodman, and welcomed Amy Goodman onto the stage. Amy was greeted with an excited standing ovation. Amy spoke for one and a half hours, and was interrupted numerous times by waves of applause. At the conclusion of her talk, Amy Goodman again received a thunderous standing ovation with shouts of approval.;
