Volunteers Needed - Orlando Clinic Defense

Written by

During the entire week, activists will be needed from 7 a.m. to 12 noon outside of reproductive health clinics. As the need for support is a moving target, volunteers are asked to arrive at the First Unitarian Church of Orlando by 6 a.m. on days they are offering to help. Assignments will be handed out at this location each morning. The First Unitarian Church of Orlando is located at 1901 East Robinson Street in the city of Orlando.

The First Unitarian Church of Orlando, 1901 East Robinson Street, downtown Orlando. From major intersection of SR 50 (E. Colonial Dr) and US Hwys. 17 & 92 (N. Mills Ave.) in downtown Orlando, go 8 blocks south down N. Mills Ave, and 4 blocks east on E. Robinson St.

A few things to keep in mind:
1. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing with pockets to keep phone and water bottle handy.
2. Prepare for heat and rain: Wearing a hat is a good idea.
3. Bring snacks and plenty of water.
4. Please bring a photo ID
5. This will be non-confrontational escorting only.  Benham and his crew want very much to provoke  you into action, so that they can have you arrested and possibly sue you.  Interaction with the antis will not be permitted.
