Our current nominations include:
President - Shannon Roberts PhD
Shannon has Federal leadership experience with NASA, the U.S. Departments of Justice and Transportation, the President's Council on Management Improvement, and the Federal Quality Institute. She was the Democratic Nominee for Florida's 8th Congressional District in 2012 and Florida's 15th Congressional District in 2010. She served on the Cape Canaveral City Council for four years, where she was a member of the Space Coast League of Cities and the Council's liaison with the Economic Development Commission (EDC) for Florida's Space Coast and the Canaveral Port Authority. Shannon is a regional strategic planner and a guest lecturer and Adjunct Professor with the School of Public Administration at the University of Central Florida in Orlando in the areas of leadership, strategic planning, governance, and regionalism. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and International Relations and Master and Doctor degrees in Public Administration.
Vice President - Carolyn J. Fausnaugh PhD, CPA
Carolyn (Dr. Fausnaugh) recently retired from Florida Tech College of Business where she taught Entrepreneurship Courses and Industry Analysis Research. Her community and political involvement has included being campaign treasurer for a Delaware State Legislator, serving as a delegate to both the 1980 and 1986 White House Conferences on Small Business, testifying before the Delaware State Legislature on matters affecting state tax legislation and small businesses. Most recently she drafted the resolution that is now section 2.9.10 of the Brevard County Home Rule Charter. Carolyn's political interest has always tended toward policy making, laws and implementation of the laws. She sums up her work as "How do we make government operations more effective and efficient in achieving policy goals?
Her education includes a Bachelors in Accounting, a Masters in Taxation, and a PhD in Strategic Management with an emphasis in entrepreneurship and production operations
Secretary - Bill Gabrenya PhD
Bill was one of the founders of SCPA and served as its webmaster for 8 years. He has been SCPA vice president and secretary.
He is a Professor of Cultural and Social Psychology at FIT.
Treasurer - Richard Anderson
Longtime member of SCPA and current Treasurer.

Member Delegate - Bill Whitehead
Bill is retired after 46 years of engineering management and systems engineering work at General Dynamics, Johns Hopkins University/Applied Physics Lab, and Harris Corporation. He has an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering and a graduate degree in engineering administration. Bill's extensive history of work for the community includes service on the Melbourne Beach Town Commission (vice mayor), the Melbourne Village Town Commission, the American Homesteading Foundation Board of Trustees, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Brevard Board of Trustees (president), Melbourne Civic Theater Board of Trustees (president), the Harbor City Volunteer Ambulance Squad, the Space Coast Progressive Alliance (president), and numerous other committees and boards. Bill and his wife Karen have six children and three grandchildren and have lived in Florida for 44 years.
Member Delegate - Dave White
Dave has been an active volunteer in presidential campaigns and peace activism for many years. He closely aligns his philosophy with the Friends Committee on National Legislation, http://fcnl.org/. He is a Certified Personal Trainer and Spin Instructor at Florida Tech.
Member Delegate - Spence Guerin and Cammie Donaldson
Spence Guerin and Cammie Donaldson were SCPA founders and have served the organization in many capacities, including president, event planning chair, communication chair, and more.
Member Delegate - Carol and Kurt Keydel
Carol - PhD in Counseling and Consultation; licensed, certified Social Worker; retired Professor of Psychology and Human services; presently a psychotherapist; SCPA member for 3 years.
Kurt - PhD in Engineering; retired Professor of Engineering and Physics; SCPA member for 3 years.
Election will be followed by popcorn and Movie Night. In honor of Martin Luther King Day we will host a special airing of Bill Moyers Journal: The 4/2/2010: King's Dream for Equality - Bill Moyers talks with Bryan Stevenson and Michelle Alexander on MLK's vision for equality, the historic struggle for economic and racial justice.
