Alvarez/Tobia and Pishgar/Infantini Forum: Important to Attend

Written by

Can you come out to help us support the local candidates with real Progressive values?
Florida Today is teaming with Brevard Community College to sponsor a series of Candidate Forums this fall.

The final forum is scheduled from 7 to 9 pm, October 10 in Building 1 on BCC’s Plam Bay Campus.
The first hour (7 to 8 pm) will feature two candidates for Florida House District 53 — incumbent Rep. John Tobia, Republican, and challenger John Paul Alvarez, Democrat.
The second hour (8 to 9 pm) will feature District 3 incumbent County Commissioner Trudie Infantini, a Tea Party & Republican, and Democratic opponent Joe Pishgar.

Please be aware that your physical attendance is vital to presenting a well rounded forum of factual issues.
We are aware the Republicans & Tea Party are pre-planning for this and will have major support groups there for Tobia & Infantini sign waving and front seat filling beginning at 5 p.m.
Please do all you can to show SCPA presence as a counter-balance.
If you absolutely cannot attend the forum in Palm Bay, you can watch it live on WBCC-TV.

The candidates for all of the forums will be given an equal amount of time to make their case and answer written questions from the audience or previously emailed questions selected by the moderator.

You, as a Progressive, are highly encouraged to attend and also to e-mail questions in advance to the moderator at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
