Vermont Introduces Resolution to Amend US Constitution, Ban Corporate Personhood,
“Whereas, free and fair elections are essential to American democracy and effective self-governance, and
Whereas, individual persons are rightfully recognized as the human beings.....
Whereas, large corporations have used their so-called rights to successfully seek the judicial reversal of democratically enacted laws passed at the municipal, state, and federal levels aimed at curbing corporate abuse, and
Whereas, these judicial decisions have rendered democratically elected governments ineffective in protecting their citizens against corporate harm to the environment, health, workers, independent business, and local and regional economies", (quote from Vermont's proposed legislation)
the direction is clear and Vermont has pointed to the way. Come join us in a Rally to Amend on March 12th in North Palm beach.
A Bus will be leaving Melbourne at 10:00 am.
seating is limited please call ASAP.

The fear of the founders of this nation has come true concerning the concentration of wealth in too few hands; “Jefferson feared that without proper checks and balances, an aristocratic financial class would wield a disproportionate amount of influence in government and thus erode popular democracy.”
