The "Kyoto Accord Prisoner" is Leonard Peltier. Leonard worked peacefully to ban coal and uranium mining with the American Indian Movement in the '70's. An atmosphere of fear led to his wrongful conviction for federal agents' murders. He has been imprisoned 33 years. A model prisoner, he could have been paroled Tuesday August 18, 2009. Parole was denied, again.
