Coping With COVID On The Space Coast Featured

Written by  Team SCPA

Please join us for a "Zoom" meeting (NOT AT FRONT ST. CIVIC CENTER) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 7th to learn about how to get financial help, healthcare, and other assistance during the Coronavirus pandemic. We will bring three local activists and experts online to help you learn how to get help -- or offer your help -- during the duration of this pandemic's impact here on the Space Coast.

Please do not go to the Front Street Civic Center. For everyone's safety, we will not be holding in-person meetings until further notice. The Zoom app is not perfect, but it's the next best thing to a live meeting.

The threats from the Coronavirus are serious, and the four wonderful panelists that will be joining us are serious about helping our community and helping you cope with these tough times. After their presentations, you will be able to participate in the Q&A   portion of our virtual meeting.

Anyone who is in need of financial, or food aid should join us! This will not be a medical briefing, but we surely will discuss healthcare and insurance issues.

Our Panelists:

Raed Alshaibi: SCPA Vice President and organizer with Brevard Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster.

Keith Heinly: Director of Community Impact at United Way of Brevard County.

Tess Martin: Florida State Director of The Common Ground Project.

Stacey Patel: Chair of the Brevard Democratic Executive Committee, and organizer of The Coronavirus Mutual Aid Network of Brevard.

Log On: Thursday, May 7, 2020 06:30 PM Eastern Time
Join Zoom meeting at:

Meeting ID: 876 6682 3148
Password: 215069
Again, this is not at the Front Street Civic Center!

Our virtual meeting is FREE and open to the public, as always!
