LGBT discrimination, cont'd.

Urge School Board to add LGBT protection to non-discrimination policy

5pm Brevard County School Board, 2700 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera

Attend and wear red, show support for LGBT community and our friends at Space Coast Pride.

Space Coast Pride asks: COME OUT. WEAR RED.
Please come to the School Board meeting and stand with us on Tuesday, March 15. The color red represents love and makes us proud and visible. It is important for the public and School Board to know we have allies from all walks of life, that we are diverse, talented, intelligent, and care about our children and our community.

Clayton Richardson, Secretary, Space Coast Pride made thoughtful appeal for added non-discrimination, see video:

Ed. note: A show of support is especially important because of likely opposition from Liberty Counsel, 'a legal organization advocating for anti-LGBT discrimination under the guise of religious liberty,' according to Southern Poverty Law Center, which has identified the organization as a hate group.

More about Liberty Counsel hate group, see SPLC:
