PROGRAM: Florida Legislature Update and Progressives in Florida

- Dr. Rich Templin, Legislative and Political Director, AFL-CIO

- Susan Smith, President of the Democratic Progressive Caucus of Florida

Starting our year out right, by looking left -- Florida Progressive leaders share their vision for 2016. Can sanity be restored in Florida's legislature? Will the legislative leadership continue to override the greater public interest on a long list of issues? Will Crisafulli be held accountable for Amendment 1 funding failures and more? What's happening in the growing progressive community across Florida?

1st or 2nd Thursdays are monthly gatherings, building the growing progressive community. Share your petitions and other items of interest, make brief announcements. Enjoy the gathering, super programs, super people. Bring a friend! Free and open to the public.
